Rock My Soul group holds gospel holiday concerts

PORTSMOUTH — Rock My Soul, a 25-member choir that is part of the Diversified Faith Gospel Project, performs two Gospel Holidays Concerts this week. Selections include traditional Christmas carols, gospel-style holiday arrangements, and popular, R&B-flavored popular Christmas favorites.
The first concert will be held on Friday, Dec. 16 at the Greenland Community Church, 2 Post Road, in Greenland. The second will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the First Parish Federated Church on the corner of Main and Academy Streets in South Berwick, ME. Both concerts start at 7 pm; doors will open at 6:30 pm. Refreshments will be served during brief intermissions.
Advance ticket purchase is strongly recommended. Advance tickets cost $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and over, and $5 for youth aged17 and under. (Children aged 5 and under are admitted free of charge.) Tickets may be purchased online at www.GMP.org or by calling 207-450-8016.
Ticket prices at the door are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors, and $8 for youth 17 and under (children under 5 free).
